I started this blog in the spring of 2020 for a project in one of my media classes. I thought about keeping up to date with it, but every time the thought crossed my mind I simply dismissed it. With the start of the new year, I decided that it would be a great time to revive this blog and continue talking about the music I love (and maybe hate too).
During quarantine I had an abundance of time to revisit old genres, find new music and really dive into new albums that artists were releasing. I rediscovered my love and guilty pleasure that is country music, found the grunge bands that began my obsession with the Foo Fighters and played the new Killers album on repeat. With the revival of this blog, I hope to explore the quarantine discoveries and revise old loves too.
Life Update
I believe this post also calls for a life update. I am currently going into my fourth semester here at Texas State University where I major in electronic media with a concentration in multimedia production. I am an assistant manager for web content at KTSW 89.9 (the official radio station of Texas State) and a marimba player for Rhythmic Force (an independent percussion ensemble based out of Austin, TX).

I am excited to see where I take this blog in the future or even if I continue to keep it. I guess we’ll find out together!
